"Who's your gorgeous Cover Girl?" you ask?...Karin Fester, a former top model from the glory days of G. Fox...She's walked many of our runways and enjoys working as a sales stylist with Tom in West Hartford. Karin always looks extraordinary!!!

Pauline Sugine was home in Southern California 10 years ago when husband Sam first brought her Japanalia clothes for an anniversary gift after his business trip to West Hartford. Many "telephone shopping sprees" later, Pauline and Sam wear Japanalia almost exclusively: work (Sam is retired now), travel, dress-up..."Japanalia is perfect" when you don't want to "see yourself coming and going" especially in fashion-conscious Los Angeles! Apparently, the Sugine's also find Japanalia the perfect gift...they've "converted" many of their West Coast friends as well!

Elly Jacobson, administrator at Trinity College in Hartford , sometime Japanalia Covergirl,and great jazz aficionado is a self-admitted "Japanaliaholic"! Petite, with a fabulous figure, lovely Elly sez: "I wear Japanalia almost exclusively and can't go anywhere without receiving compliments. Beverly Balk designs sumptuous interiors to live well in all over NYC, Long Island , & then some. A client since the mid 80's, Beverly has at least one of every Japanalia coat & jacket ever made. Petite herself, she prefers a "Big Look", layering and adding accessories from her own collection of fabulous scarves & jewelry. A true "colorist", Beverly is firm on which colors she'll wear, though when it comes to styles, she pretty much "leaves the driving to us"! As she puts it: "I own so many pieces, that mixing & matching takes no effort." For Japanalia it's a nice relationship: like with many other of our clients, we always learn new ways of styling from those who truly enjoy wearing our clothes.
